You are correct, Diesel and Dust is a masterpiece. I think Blue Sky Mining is pretty terrific as well. I have been a fan of Midnight Oil for a long time and always wished they got more credit for their songs. I read where most of the band surfs and that's where they first started speaking out on environmental issues. The other politics followed. I loved it when they did an impromptu protest concert in front of the Exxon Building in New York. A great band. We need more musicians like them.
I agree - we need more bands like Midnight Oil. I forgot about their impromptu protest show in front of the Exxon building. It's refreshing to hear a band that has something to say and says it loud.
